With the high holidays fast approaching, we all want to send love, peace, happiness and good health to our loved ones. Our 5781 basket has all the material goods you need to bring in a sweet new year: a round challah, a 2-litre container of chicken soup with matzo balls (made by Soul Provisions; Sweet GF Sisters for the gluten-free version), a jar of honey and a pair of beeswax Shabbat candles (from Shoresh), 6 apples, a pomegranate, honey cake, candied nuts, sesame snacks, hummus and labaneh (made by Galya Loves Food) and a jar of pickles. You also have the option of adding flowers to your basket!
We are hoping to extend these holiday treats and warm wishes to members of our community who are in need. Recently, Jewish Family and Child Services has seen a tremendous increase in need for resources toward their poverty reduction program. Our community, like many others, has strongly been impacted by the pandemic.
Keeping this in mind as we prepare to celebrate a new year filled with sweetness and good health, we are starting a program that will strive to include all members of the community. Together with the poverty relief program at Jewish Family and Child Services, we are hoping to give everyone in our community the sweet new year we all deserve. As such, we are pledging to donate a high holiday gift basket for each one that we sell.
If you would like to help us make this happen, please select the option to donate $75 toward giving another Jewish family the same enriched experience we all want and deserve.
please indicate challah preference in notes. (gluten-free challahs will be sugar crumb)
